Our Assorted Palm Family is a great way to fill in a space in your home with the beautiful fronds of a tropical plant. This plant does wonders near a window where the light can shine through its leaves and cast a captivating variety of shadows.

DETAILS

This plant comes in a variety of sizes:

8”-12” Plant height (including pot) with a pot width of 3.5”.

18”-22” Plant height (including pot) with a pot width of 6”.

LIKES

This tropical plant is happiest in a bright spot. Keep it near a window that gets a lot of light but if the leaf tips begin to turn brown it may be getting too much direct sunlight.

DISLIKES

Dust collecting on the leaves can block the plant from getting all the sunlight it needs so be sure to wipe it down with a damp cloth once in a while. Root rot is another concern for this plant so be sure not to water so often that the soil is soaked for long periods of time.

HEALTH BENEFITS

This plant has been found to filter the air of carbon dioxide and volatile organic compounds.

LOOKING AFTER THE PLANT

Water only when the top 2 inches of soil are fully dry and your plant will be happy and healthy. Fertilize using a diluted liquid fertilizer to half-strength once a month during spring and summer.

This plant is not toxic to pets or children but the edges of the fronds can be sharp.
