ABOUT SNAKE PLANT
Straightforward and perfect for beginners. The Sansevieria or Snake Plant originally comes from the Central Africa region with over 70 different species. This plant comes with a whole host of nicknames, “Mother-in-law’s tongue,” “Snake plant,” “Saint George’s Sword,” and others. The Sansevieria is incredibly tolerant and can be neglected for weeks at a time while still looking fresh. Some of the magical benefits of this plant include sleep aid, making it a great addition to bedroom decor.

This Snake Plant comes in two sizes:
Plant height (including pot): 5″-12″; Pot width: 3.5″
Plant height (including pot): 15″-25″; Pot width: 6″
LIKES
Sansevieria is content in almost any light condition and can be placed in direct or indirect sunlight. Let the soil dry out between waterings.
DISLIKES
There isn’t much you can do to Sansevieria that will hurt it thanks to its drought-tolerant nature. Avoid overwatering and your plant should thrive.
HEALTH BENEFITS
Known for their ability to remove toxic air pollutants such as CO2, benzene, xylene, toluene, and formaldehyde, making them an effective defense to protecting yourself from airborne allergies. By filtering indoor air, this plant can convert CO2 into oxygen at night.
LOOKING AFTER THE PLANT
Fairly drought-resistant, the Sansevieria should be watered once every 10-14 days with the soil drying out slightly between each watering. During the winter months allow the soil to dry out completely before watering moderately around once a month.
PLANT CARE WITH PETS AND CHILDREN
If the Sansevieria is ingested by a dog or cat it can cause an upset stomach. It is best to keep out of reach of pets.
