Help! Why did nothing but oil come out when I squeezed my Yumbutter Protein Almond Butter pouch?

Don’t worry, this happens sometimes! Nut butter naturally separates, causing the oils to settle on top. If it hasn't been moved around much then it may require a little kneading to mix the oil and the solids back together again. Therefore, make sure you give the pouch a thorough squeeze for a couple of minutes before opening. This should bring it back to its deliciously smooth texture. 

If it’s particularly chilly, or the packet is difficult to knead, you can place it in a hot water bath to soften it up first. However, never microwave it! Once it has softened, it’s ready for you to give it a good mix before opening and enjoying all its nutty goodness.
