But the healthiness of a smoothie really depends on its ingredients. We’ve put together a list of some classic smoothie ingredients and written down what health benefits they have, so you can make the right choice for you:
Banana - A classic smoothie ingredient, they bring smoothies a subtle sweetness and are also great to thicken up the texture. Bananas are also high in fibre and antioxidants, and may improve digestive and heart health!
Berries - Blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, you can’t deny that they all taste great. They are loaded with antioxidants, fibre and vitamin C.

Greens (spinach, kale etc) - Using green veg in your smoothies makes eating healthy easy and enjoyable! What can I add to my smoothies to make them even better?
