  • When do meals get delivered?

    Every Monday for Vancouver Orders

    Vancouver: 10:30am – 2:00pm
    North/West Vancouver: 12:00pm – 3:00pm
    Burnaby: 2:00pm – 5:00pm
    Surrey: 1:00pm – 5:00pm
    Richmond: 1:00pm – 5:00pm

    Every Tuesday for the rest of Canada
    We will send an email to notify you that the delivery has left the warehouse. You will be notified via text message with an approximate time of delivery.

  • Who prepares the meals?

    The new meal recipes were created by LA-based chef Gregg Drusinsky.

    For our original 10 meals made with meat alternatives, we collaborated with the chefs at Modern Meat.  The meat alternative products we use are Modern Meats’ protein-rich vegan products.

    The meals are then assembled through a co-packer, also located locally in Vancouver.

  • What types of meat alternatives are available?

    Crumble, Meatballs and vegan ‘Crab’ Cakes are a few of the meat alternatives on offer from Modern Meat. These products are used throughout a handful of our pre-made meals resulting in nutritious and protein-packed recipes that are delicious!

  • What type of packaging is used?

    Depending on the meal the items and packaging in eco-friendly containers. You may notice that some of the more sauce heavy items are packaged in slightly different packaging, this is to ensure all items transport and store well in your fridge if not consumed straight away. We do value sustainability and having recyclable and low impact packaging is important to us.

  • The meals were delivered in a reusable bag, what do I do with this?

    We have been working on a system for reusable bags. They definitely should not be thrown in the garbage, you can repurpose them as we cannot arrange for pick due to COVID guidelines. We understand this is unfortunate, and we are ready to implement pick up services as soon as COVID restrictions are lifted.

  • Is it a subscription-based delivery service?

    PlantX is a subscription-free service offering weekly meal delivery throughout Canada. Similar to ordering take-out from a restaurant, we offer a selection of pre-made, chef-curated meals designed to last you the week. We accept online orders anytime.

  • When is delivery?

    The meals are prepared by the local chefs every weekend in the North Vancouver kitchen and are delivered the following Monday or Tuesday (depending on your location).

  • Can I schedule a delivery window?

    The production team assembles and plates the meals fresh every weekend and they are sent out for delivery in a temperature-controlled truck or box each. Delivery times will vary depending on location and order quantity. If you are unable to have someone home to receive your order, meals will be left outside the door in an insulated bag.

  • What are the delivery charges?

    Delivery rates are $9.80

    Delivery is free when you order 10+ meals

  • Does the menu change?

    We offer a variety of meals with updates and seasonal favorites.
    Meals will be rotated seasonally with the exception of a few top sellers that will remain on the menu. There should be 10+ meal options at any given time.

  • When do you recommend the meals be consumed by?

    We recommend the meals should be kept refrigerated and consumed within 5-7 days of delivery. If you choose to freeze any of the meals, they are not intended to be frozen and this may affect the flavor and textures of the dish, however, it will extend the consumption date significantly.

  • How long do the meals last?

    The meals last 5-7 days refrigerated from the delivery date.

  • If you are dropping food off when I am not home, how does it stay fresh (not go bad)?

    The production team assembles and plates the meals fresh every weekend and they are sent out for delivery in a temperature-controlled truck or box each Monday.   If you are unable to have someone home to receive the meals, they will be left outside the door in an insulated bag which will keep the meals cold. If you know in advance you will not be able to receive the delivery at a specific time, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate
    this request.

  • I selected the wrong delivery date and completed my order - what now?

    If you have selected an incorrect delivery date and wish to change this, please contact our support team at info@plantx.com as soon as possible. All orders are submitted Friday at midnight so please make sure to let us know before this cut-off date.

  • Where does PlantX ship to?

    PlantX.ca – offers Canada wide shipping for meals, plants, and consumer goods.

    PlantX.com offers shipping across the US for consumer goods. (plants and meal delivery coming soon)

  • How long will it take for my order to get to me?

    The meals will be delivered every Monday or Tuesday, the shipping of our products takes 1-2 days. For plant delivery, your plant can take up to 14 days. For consumer goods we have different shipping options however it is typically between 1-5 days.

  • Can I check the status of my order?

    Yes, we will send you a tracking number via email.

  • Do you have a return policy?

    Yes, under specific requirements. Go under our Shipping & Returns page for more details. For damaged items, contact info@plantx.com.

  • Do the meals and the products arrive in the same order?

    No, you will receive the meals and products separately.

  • Are all products on the website plant-based?

    Yes, all products are 100% plant-based, the products will also include a list of ingredients for your reassurance.

  • Which payment methods do you offer?

  • Is the shipping for free for products?

  • Are all products gluten-free, kosher and non-gmo?

    Not all of them, but we have a search function in our shop section to make it easy to find those products.

  • Do the plants come in a pot or do I have to buy them separately?

    Yes, they will come in a pot automatically, however, there are more options of pots available if you wish for a different one.

  • Is the shipping for free for plants?

    The shipping is free when you order$99.95 worth of plants.
