Preparation Instructions
Combine Lundberg Organic White Jasmine Rice, water, and vegan butter or oil in a heavy-bottomed saucepan, and bring to a boil.
Cover with a tight-fitting lid. If you don’t have a close-fitting lid, try wrapping the lid in a clean tea towel before placing it on the pan. Turn the heat down to a low simmer, and cook for 15 minutes.
Remove the pan from the heat (keep covered) and steam for 10 minutes. Fluff with a fork and enjoy!

What is the difference between Lundberg Organic White Jasmine Rice and basmati rice?
Lundberg Organic White Jasmine Rice and basmati rice are both long-grain varieties of rice. This means they have a fluffy texture and that the grains remain distinct (unlike sticky rice, or risotto rice).
With slightly wider and shorter grains, Lundberg Organic White Jasmine Rice has a more plump, moist and soft texture than basmati, which tends to be firmer and drier. Jasmine rice originates in Thailand, while basmati originates in India. Both types of rice are deliciously aromatic, however, jasmine rice has a more floral scent, while basmati is nuttier.
